pretty pleased iwth it for the price, did not find the geometry of the wheel stop and angle of vise to work very well with 19" tires on my GS, but added in a 2x4 to correct that. Had a bike on my lift for 3 days using this, once I installed it, works pretty well for the price. so no complaints would recommend.

This vice Is working as good as any vice out there it’s made out of a heaver material if that’s a problem then buy a lighter one in this Porten to you then spend the a lot more money but it works great for me

like most people, I shopped around for the most practical "bang for the buck" and came across this wheel vise. I have ordered from this company before and have the motorcycle tire changer and balancer. after unboxing the vise and a few uses, I found these issues: the rubber pad does not stay on very well and twists when you tighten the wheel vise down. also the front wheel guard/bumper plate is made to fasten on the front lip of the lift(not the top). so if you have a lift that doesn't have a very large lip you will be forced to improvise and/or not use this part. I own a motorcycle shop and use 2 of these vices daily.

Install info from tech support. Installed on my HF lift. Typical installation is 9" between inside bolt holes measuring across both sides. The inside front bolt hole of the stationary side usually lines up directly across from the inside rear bolt hole of the adjustable side. Wheel stop typically 1-2" from vise. However you can widen or narrow as needed.

W-vise was installed on a harbor freight bike lift. Worked as advertised. For the price, it just can’t be beat!

This is a terrific vise as many have stated, although they do not put any mounting info in the box. There are some cryptic notes you can decipher on the info page that tell you where the front bolts and back bolts should line up. A template would be forever helpful. I mounted this on the HF lift table as many did. Mount the Vise up near the very front of the table with the fixed “L” almost to the very front edge. Careful of parts below as you drill. Also, buy yourself a new steel drill bit, and start with a smaller pilot hole before drilling out the larger mounting holes.

The clamp works better than what I had, however the packaging was missing some nuts and bolts. They were not bagged and scattered through out the box upon arrival. Not sure what happened there but I will be buying more of their products.

Bought this based on the other reviews as a great upgrade to my HF table lift. Could not be happier, it actually holds the bike upright! Had a small issue with one of the threads being stripped on the left arm. Contacted support and a new part was in the mail that day. Awesome support!

Mounted on a Harbor Freight bike table and it fits good. a little hard to drill the holes but it's not like the holes in the table for the cheap vice were going to work for the good vice I got from you anyways. In other words I REALLY REALLY like it.

This is sort of a mixed review. I gave it three stars because there was good and bad about the transaction. First the good, packaged arrived quickly. Now the bad, bolts, nuts, and washers were all over inside the box. The bag broke open and it was a mess inside the box. There were also holes in the box and it appears I lost a few spring washers. The vise parts don’t appear to be damaged but I will take a closer look when I put it together tomorrow. Anyway, for now, I will go by that it is a good product. It does look solid. Packaging really sucked. If the system allows, I will add to this post tomorrow.

Hands down the best wheel chock vise on the market for the price! I needed to upgrade a lift I bought at harbor freight due to the flimsy clamp it was supplied with. I’m now able now to quickly and easily secure my dyna by myself. I do all my own work on my bike so this is a necessity for me. The quality and durability of this vise might be more then I need for personal use but I’m not complaining. I highly recommended this product!

I have a big Harley Electra glide. The old chock on my lift was to small to hold my bike secure. This front wheel chock works great. It's a good size and holds my bike secure so I can get it tied down by my self. I highly recommend this wheel chock for any size bike. I work on many bikes and it has worked well on all sizes.

fed ex dropped my tire vice and had it installed in a half hour with my bike on the lift.Well worth the price.I have the harbor freight table as vice that came with it was a piece of shit.had the new vice in place in no time did not come with instructions but if you cant figure it out you dont need to be putting a bike on the lift to start with.it does what it says you need one of these if you have the HF lifts.

I'm another one with a HB lift. Do yourself a favor and add this to your lift. The vise is rock solid with my hayabusa clamped into it. It makes working on my bike so much easier just having it a couple feet off the ground. On the next lift table go round I think I'll just buy the whole set up from DW. They offer the same lift WITH air/hydraulic for about $50 more- no brainer. Shipping was quick and in perfect order Thanks again for a great product!

Bought a motorcycle lift and can't believe how easy it makes my life, however, the pathetic "vise" that came with this cost-savings lift is a joke. I read several positive reviews from the Garage Journal forum and the price was reasonable so I got the DW vice. WOW! Now I can push my bikes right into the tough DW motorcycle vice and it holds it there for me until I get the straps cinched up. No more sketchy balancing acts! You'll not regret this upgrade!!

bought this to upgrade a lift I just acquired and make it just like my trusty "Direct Lift" motorcycle lift. not exact but it works just fine. the crank on the moving side is a bit sloppy but time will tell

I have made my own table out of wood and needed a wheel lock on the front. This is sturdy and does the trick although I needed to purchase longer bolts.

It's the best bang for the buck when it comes to a well constructed and secure wheel clamp. The typical poorly designed and inadequate clamps that cone withentry level lifts are a joke at best. For $99 you can't beat it. Your bike is securely held and it's much safer. Nevertheless, don't forget the straps as well!

I concur with all the good reviews I had read on this vise. I only wish that I had found this company earlier as I would have just purchased their entire lift table that they say is very similar to the one Harbor Freight sells. After paying Harbor Freight $280 + tax and having to haul the 300 lb. thing home and then going through the hassle of ordering & fitting this great vice I could have just as well bought the entire table WITH AIR LIFT for about the same money and way less work!

Great affordable upgrade for those red lifts so many of us have. Easy install, all hardware provided. Adjustable tire stop would be nice, but for the price cannot beat it.

Excellent product from Weaver. ONLY thing that bothered Me (and not extremely bad) was it will mark up some pretty white wall tires. However, You need the rubber pads to protect Your rims. "white" rubber pads maybe? With that said, great product!!...thanks Weaver!!!

Holds bike up until I can tie it down.

The wheel vise fit perfectly on my existing lift. It is a quality device that should outlast the lift itself. I was please to see that the rubber covers on the inside of the vise were screwed on and not just glued. I couldn't be more pleased.

This vise is sturdy and does the job I needed to hold the bike upright until I can tie it down to the lift. Feels strong. The plastic plugs could be made to fit better, since the ones I got fit really loose. Nothing some epoxy couldn't fix to keep them in place.

Bought this to put on my automotive lift so I can work on my bike on the lift. Good solid setup and design. Can't beat the price.

Some background: I am a 74 yr old rider, who has always suffered from a very short pair of legs... 28.5" inseam, which makes many simple moves such as getting a "man-size" bike up and secure on a lift table more difficult. The lift table I purchases from a competitor came with a really cheesy wheelvise, so I purchased one of the "flip-up" lifts where you push the bike into the cradle, it flips up behind the tire and holds the bike (somewhat) securely. The problem with this clamp is that it is too loose for a 120/70 front tire, allowing too much side play while climbing off the bike to secure it with the tie-downs. The REAL problem for my short legs came when I discovered I couldn't generate enough rearward force to get the bike back OUT of the clamp!!! Turned it into a 2 man job... No es bueno! Your vise arrived on time. The parts inside had managed to hole the box in two places... I checked, and the plastic bag of small parts was there and undamaged, and the heavy duty metal pieces were essentially undamaged as well, having been originally wrapped in layers of "bubble wrap". It was the corner on a couple of pieces that had worn through the bubble wrap, then chafed through the box in two spots... No harm, No Foul1 The only minor complaint I have is that the molded rubber close-out plugs in the rectangular tube wheel supports all fit loosely, one had fallen out in transit. Easily corrected with some black RTV on the plugs, with a strip of duct tape to hold it firmly in place while the RTV set up overnight. Very HD wheel vise, which should serve me well for years. I would happily recommend this vise to anyone who asks!

Really good upgrade for my lift table. Product looks well made and works as advertised. It holds my Harley firmly in place and make it possible to load and strap down with out any other help. All it took was drilling a few holes and bolting it on.

How fancy does a wheel vice need to be? This is more than adequate and EXACTLY what the HF lift needs. Shipped fast and my order was correct. Zero complaints here.

This is a well made heavy duty wheel vice. I use it on a BMWR1200gs. It holds the heavy bike upright with no trouble.

Replaced the horrible vise that came with my bike lift with the Weaver vice and couldn't be more happy. Holds my bike when I drive it on my lift and then able to strap it down.

The product does everything that I want it to. I bought a HB cycle lift and they supplied a really lame wheel vise, and the product I bought from D Weaver is an excellent replacement for the supplied part.

W-Vise is a good product. I bought to replace a vise that was cheap and ineffective. I dropped one bike because of the old vise wasn't enough for the job. I have used this vise several times and it works just a described. It's sturdy and makes me feel more comfortable using it. The rubber pulled out of one of the screws on the second use. But other than that it seems to be a quality vise. I think it's well worth the money.

I found the vice to be sturdy and durable. It took me a bit to figure out how to install it since it came without any instructions of temples. Just a vise in a box with a bunch of bolts. I was able to use an old tire and my best geustimation to figure out where to drill the 12 holes. My bike is much more secure with this vise and the price seemed fair.
