Bought to restore my G-body GM and it worked perfectly.

Instructions are terrible but just go online they have a great video on how to put together. Grease the tubes where main frame slides when jacking up or going down, also I greased the main trunion on opposite end of rotation handle . Absolutely should of bought one of these 3 cars ago , this is the best deal out there, extremely happy with it, I also did drill a 1/4 hole and dropped a bolt in bottom tubes once car was positioned just to prevent tubes from sliding Plus tighten bolts . I have a lip at my garage door The bolts keep tube from possible sliding when wheels go over that lip . Was amazed how fast I received it and delivery guy took off truck with gate and rolled it right in my garage, quality piece

Love it. My only suggestion is to make the caster attachment plates longer for clearance for the bolts.

Product is outstanding, better than expected. Hung and spun my 57 ranchero body “ like a chicken “ (wife's input) first try. Leave all bolts loose to ensure square as instructed. Written documents shipped with product, not worth paper written on. Video was saving grace. Old timers like me like good detailed drawings.....but even that is quite poor. Other than that fact, the product, customer service, price......outstanding. Assembly by self with help from 2 ton cherry picker (hoist). Thanks for making a great product affordable.

Took very little time to assemble. A few holes needed tapped to clean them. The balancing rod locks tend to want to move around while adjusting the balance. Not a serious issue at all. Have a 57 chevy mounted on it know, took less than a hour to have the car fully rotatable.

Really great rotisserie for the price. Especially when combined with the free shipping. Worm drive rotation gear is game changing. Instructions (assembly and balancing) leave a ton to be desired, but can pieces together from similar product videos on YouTube.

I'm glad I chose Derek Weaver's rotisserie. It was shipped in good packaging that protected it from damage, it was easy to assemble, and it works perfectly for my 1969 Mustang.

Amazing rotisserie! It was delivered liftgate service to my home in under 5 days from a Saturday online order. Here are some tips: You must watch the YouTube assembly video. The caster bolts have a very tight tolerance so make sure they can swivel freely before final assembly. Be sure to use some silicone grease or lube on the mounting accessory tubing so they do not bind when attached to the vehicle. The powder coating on the screw hole threads for the casters was too thick so I had to gently re-tap 5 of the 24 holes. Sliding the wench on from the top should require two people but I installed mine while on the ground which made it a lot easier. I was able to mount a 240Z with all included items just needed some extra bolts and mounting point on the front frame. Took 6 hours all in to unpack, assemble and mount the Datsun. If you are on the fence, order it now. It is a back saver and simplifies access to the bottom of the car. Worth every penny!

Great rotisserie.... but the directions are not! They need a better online video as well. Need to show how the dang thing lowers and raises with the all thread.

Best price delivered to Washington state. Very happy with the product! I would definitely buy it again. I put my 1967 chevelle on it. I did have to make up new rear mounts. I wanted more support. But i knew that when i bought the rotisserie. It did take me a few minutes to figure out the balancing rods. Just take your time and don't force it. Once you get the idea of the center of gravity to the rotisserie/car it will spin with amazing ease!!

This is a really great product. It assembles pretty easy if you follow the video. However the instructions are lacking and were fuzzy in writing and photos were not good. Otherwise a fantastic product. It was packed very well and arrived quickly. It is a very good quality and excellent design. I am very happy with it and I mounted a 72 Firebird easily to the rotisserie. For the price and quality, you can’t really get any better. Other than the instruction manual, it is a great product!

The rotisserie arrived quickly box with everything that was said to be included. I have watched the assembly video a couple weeks prior and it's good because the written instructions are lacking. After laying it all out I was able 2 get it if some old fairly quickly. I then proceeded to build jig for my vehicle and with door bars install lifted it from the frame. Very happy with this unit and love the rotation feature.

It's big and heavy, but they all are. Lots of extras. I've used the gear drive hundreds of times, it seems heavy duty. The car won't turn unless you are cranking, control is good.

I have purchased a Pro-10 lift and a rotisserie. I have had a M38-A1 Jeep, a 67 SS 396 Chevelle and now a 38 Chevy on this. This is an amazing piece of equipment. I have had zero problems with it until I had someone borrow it and they hooked a chain on it and drug it through a gravel parking lot and broke the gear in it. I called Derrick Weaver and asked if I could buy the part I needed and my daughter picked it up the next day and delivered it to me on a scheduled trip to see us. They where so helpful. I have learned a valuable lesson. Don’t loan tools. I also have a Pro-10 lift. I have had zero problems with 3 restoration. Derrick Weave is the best. Won’t let me attach pictures, will send in an email.

I have used only a few other rotisseries, but have for this unit particularly well built and designed for easy use. It is also the only unit with a gear drive crank for rotating the vehicle and is a device all units should have.

I bought this rotisserie about 1 1/2 months ago, but finally got a chance to put it together and mount my convertible body on it. I had a few issues with putting it together. First, the instructions are very vague and does not have pictures of all the parts. The instructions name pieces but don't show which parts go where. I just laid it all out and figured it out. I did find a video on YouTube after I was done that walks you through the steps. I highly recommend watching the video. The other issue I had were the threads for the casters. Everyone of them had to be re-tapped (metric) because it looks like the threads were cut before the powder coating was done. This is a very solid, well built unit and once its adjusted, is very easy to roll the body and the large casters make it easy to move around in the garage. On other thing, which I didn't do initially was grease all sliding parts. Mine had a slight burr on each main brace that has the slide for raising and lowering the car. Without the grease, it was very hard to lower the car. Other that these issues, I highly recommend this heavy duty well built rotisserie. I had it delivered to my house by a truck with tailgate lift, which they used a pallet jack to drop it in my garage. The pallet and box aren't that sturdy and hard to slide, so make sure its placed where you want it to unbox.

First of all, your rotisserie is a great piece of equipment. It is exactly what I wanted in a tool that will allow me to get the job done. Very well constructed. Great price! The only criticism I would comment on has nothing to do with the rotisserie, but the instructions that came with it. Being that I'm a professional mechanic and fabricator, this allowed me to assemble the rotisserie, fairly easy. Once I figured out how the balance adjustment was achieved, the rotation of the car body was effortless. The body attachments that were included, were perfect for my 65 Barracuda. You may want to include in your video presentation; that the user will have to drill their own holes in the applicable attachment to fit a particular body (at least I did) and an explanation of "balance." The shipping container was well designed and built. The time from ordering to the arrival of the rotisserie was exceptional, very fast. In summary, This rotisserie is a professional piece of equipment. I highly recommend that anyone in need of a rotisserie to get a Weaver Rotisserie.

The end product is well built and works as advertised. The only issue is with the instructions. Some of the assembly instructions are in the brochure but some are in a video on the companies website. Nothing leads you to watch the video for the remaining instructions. Very frustrating. Once it is all together it works great.

Kicking myself for not purchasing this Rotisserie sooner. Only took a couple hour to assemble. And after a couple modifications to the mounting plates the 64 Dart is on the rotisserie. I was suprised how easy it rotates.

Great product using it on a 1969 cuda. It needs much better instructions for not only putting it together but tips for attaching to vehicle! Arrived quickly and packaged well. Would recommend this product as it is well built.

Put the unit together. With ease. Rolled it over to the 57. Attached it with ease , Due to having all the mounts. 5 minuets later. I was rolling the body with ease. Love it. Definitely gonna make this project. And others ,,,,, A lot easier. Thank you. Manny Martinez

The Derek Weaver Rotisserie is ideal for frame off restoration work. It's pretty straight forward to set-up and very stable once the car was in the air and balanced. It was packaged well enough although I think there was enough shifting of components inside the crate. No big deal. Everything was in the crate and all the sub-assemblies and hardware kits were packaged in corrugated boxes which made unpacking easy. I appreciated that because my property prohibited delivery to the inside of my garage so I had to carry the parts from the apron. No individual part or sub-assembly weighs more than 50 or 60 pounds so it took no time to unload it into the garage. I chose to use the unibody mounts initially while working on the undercarriage and will switch to the leaf spring mounts when it's time to work on the rear valance area. I really appreciate the mounting options that come standard with the kit. Assembly was a bit of guess work as the instructions that came with it were for a different model rotisserie. Luckily, DW has a video on their web site that walks through assembly of this model. I wish they walked through the balancing procedure though. It's clear to me how to balance a rotisserie that free swings. The crank on this model, however, makes it less clear as the gearing offers a lot of resistance when driven from the ring side as it's designed to have all the leverage when turned from the pinion/worm side. I'm still not 100% sure it's perfectly balanced. It's not the most heavy duty but, for frame off (1977 Camaro) it's more than adequate structurally. The casters are nice and tall and roll easily over my relatively rough garage floor. I'd buy it again.

Very pleased. Well constructed quality product. Has everything I need for all types of vehicles. Was easy to assemble and with my 55 Chevy body balanced it turns effortlessly.

This appears to be a well made rotisserie with all necessary parts for assembly included. The instructions for assembly and use are substantially lacking but if you have the technical/mechanical skills to be using a rotisserie you will not have any problems figuring it out. As others have mentioned, assembling the rotisserie can easily be done by one person with the exception of the gear drive rotator, which is a bit heavy to hold in place while attaching with bolts. The rotisserie can be assemble in a couple of hours. Most likely you will need to do a bit of your own fabrication to mount your car as the generic mounting attachments won't work on every vehicle. I also found the door braces to be too long for my Porsche 356. The rotisserie arrived reasonably well packed but expect some marring and rubbing of paint surfaces during shipment. The shipper was great about scheduling delivery and calling just prior to arrival. Delivery to the Northwest occurred within 5 days. Carol was excellent in providing customer service at the highest level. I would definitely recommend this product and Derek Weaver Co.

I received my Weaver Rotisserie with in 4 days of placing my order so it was very fast and the people in the ordering office were super nice and very professional they called me and confirmed that I placed the order and verified the delivery address. The product it self is awesome we have another rotisserie in the shop and its not near what the Weaver product is, easy to put together and built very well and the real big bonus is how easy it is to rotate the car into and angel from zero to 180 degrees I would strongly advise anyone looking for a rotisserie GET THE WEAVER ROTISSERIE. As I laid on my back looking up at my 1978 Trans Am undercarriage paint that needed to come off, 2 thoughts ran through my head: #1 - Spend three months of weekends with a scrapper,grinder and wire brush or #2 - Buy a rotisserie and use a media blaster and get it done in a few hours. The choice was obvious and the price from Derek Weaver was spot on. I am very happy with this unit and everyone who sees it comments on how great it looks and are impressed with the hand crank to turn the lift. I would buy it again and am presently looking to buy a 2 post lift from Derek Weaver as well. bought this after I realized I needed to remove the existing paint on my undercarriage.

It arrived very fast, it assembled very quickly. the wheels are really nice it rotates real well having the handle to rotate the body around makes it very easy to Index the body and more on hard to get areas very quickly

First I ordered this machine thinking it would take at least 2 weeks to get...NO. 3 days I had a phone call ready for delivery. The truck that brought the item to me was ON TIME. The driver ready to place it in my shop. Considering all the other equipment I received in the past I was ready to do this myself. The instructions are scant for novices but any competent person can get it done without issue. I went on youtube there are plenty of videos for help there, in case. Secondly the instructions weren't exactly for the machine that I received. See above note. The machine I did get was far better than what I thought I ordered. This has a crank handle for rotating the car body making the job that much easier. I had a rotisserie in the past sold that one because it wasnt all that it was cracked up to be @ $2100.00, plus shipping. Geez. I have three vehicles in the mix for this unit,it seems more versatile to me. Yes there are rotisseries that can handle 5k pounds but why would you do a restoration with everything loaded in the vehicle. And if you needed 5k pound capacity you're doing semi's, and thats a select audience for resale. Good piece of equipment, easy on the pocket book, gets the job done...All I was looking for. Mike

Arrived in a few days and after drilling out holes for my uni-body mounts, I was up and ready to go. Excellent and solid for mounting my 1978 Trans-Am. Would buy again, great deal even if it is imported from China. I wanted to buy American but it's 1K less than an American made version.

Really impressed as got far more in this package deal than other sites were even close to. Then thrown in freight to my doorstep...heck of a deal. As other comments stated...assembly instructions better suited to start a brush fire with yet after uncrating and organizing parts and hardware, had it assembled by myself in 2.5 hours. Will soon be mounted on a 69 Roadrunner once I complete with final full dissemble of the RR.

I would rate them even worse than Ikea instructions. I figured it out eventually. I suppose if you can handle a frame-up hot rod build or restoration, it should be easy to put together a simple tool. Super fast shipping, This is a lot of tool for the money. Yes, instructions are vague but if you are restoring a car and can't figure how to assemble the rotisserie, good luck on your car. It took me about 2 hours to assemble it working alone. Had the car mounted in another 2 hours. Can't imagine why I didn't buy one of these years ago. Nice bonus to have the extras; I had already made my own door bars... wish I had waited. Shipping company could not have been nicer called in advance and driver was very friendly and helpful. This is truly a great product. We just mounted a Camaro body to the rotisserie couldn't be happier. It's so very easy for one person to turn the car. It's better than the "brand name" rotisserie I've used at twice the price.

I don't know how I survived without a rotisserie. You can do a weeks work on the bottom of a car in a couple of hours. It was very easy to set up even though the manual is typical Chinese. The unit has been improved a lot since the manual was written so just use it as a general guideline and you will be fine. The car, a 55 Nomad balances perfectly and is very secure.

This was the first rotisserie I have ever purchased, but I can say the quality of the material used was excellent. All the bolt holes lined up, the bars, and the hydraulic rams fit like a glove. The instructions to assembly the unit were clear and concise. The price was right in line with many of the other units found on the internet, but the extra pieces made it easy to decide on this product. As I stated above, I have not purchased a unit like this before, however the quality of this piece of equipment in comparison to ones I have seen in my area is far above those piece of equipment. Way better than I expected and I would buy from here again. The customer service was also of the highest.

Great product. Got here a day earlier than they estimated. Packaged well and the box would fit in my van. Built heavier than I expected. Easy to put together. My instructions didn't include the rotating gear box, but after a little trial and error, it went together just fine. One of the M24X120 nuts was fine thread and wouldn't work. Will probably go to a local shop and got one. Really not that much trouble. All cars are different so I expected more trouble mounting my car. With a little ingenuity and the adapters they sent, it only took about four hours. Great buy.

Nice piece of equipment, should make the Nova project much easier. Was quick to assemble, everything fit, all the parts were actually in the crate even the hardware, it's getting unusual in the modern world to assemble anything without a trip or two to the hardware store.

The rotisserie I recieved is a heavy duty piece of hardware. The casters are a bit sticky swiveling but that should work itself out. The crank arraignment is a bit heavy for one person to assemble but with some ingenuity it went together just fine. Only thing I wish for is some model specific mounting instructions. I would hate to ruin my Porsche by dropping it. Other than that the rotisserie should be a great addition to my shop.

I looked around for a rotisserie for about 6 months before buying this one. It is heavy duty and the crank rotation system great. definitely the best bang for the buck out there. It took me about 2 hours to assemble it by myself. The directions are strait forward and easy to follow. It also quickly breaks down and stores in a small space when not in use, something I was really looking for. I also bought a 10,000 lift and a tire changer and balancer combo from them. All of the equipment is working great.

It took less than 2 hour to assemble and mount a 49' Chevy cab - right out of the box! The staff is wonderful! As a side note - I spent over a year researching rotisseries, there are some very nice ones and very pricey. This fit my needs and the hand crank was the selling point for me.

Working on 71 El camino. Putting new floors in with out this rotisserie it would be a pain in the ass. Its so nice to just turn the body any way you want. so easy to sand blast. if your doing a total restore this is a much need.it will be the best money you spend.

I Finally got my 68 GTO Convetible on to the Rotesserie.The extras like the door supports work great.The Stand itself works perfect.The crank feature is easy to roll the body. No Flex in the body- steady! Love it and Good price.Made working on the body much easier-Floors,Trunk to cut out.

the design is superb but the casters had an issue. But to be fair the first thing i used it for was a 64 impala.i got replacement parts without delay ,customer service was great!

This rotisserie makes the work so much easier an more precise. The installation of the new floor in our 68 GTO would have been much more difficult if we were not able to get the body in any position we needed to. Mounting the body took a little planing,and we had to make an attachment but it is still a huge leap forward to have this equipment

I was happily surprised with the quality of the rotisserie. I knew going in that it was made off-shore and was skeptical. However, all the components were heavy duty and made from heavy gauge material. It came already powder coated black, which most competitors charge extra for. The price was the most attractive aspect of this rotisserie. The hand crank is a nice feature. The only negative were the included door braces. Most door braces have one end that is left hand thread so the brace can be adjusted without removing one end and/or the other for length adjustment. Having said that, most rotisseries don't even come with door braces. These were included for the same price, so it's pointless to detract for it, thus my 5 star review.
