Weaver® W-894XS Tire Changer

The w-894xs worked great after changing a couple sets of tires. Unmount/Mounting tires went smoothly and the bead breaker worked great as well. Would highly recommend!

I replaced my old Coats 25-25SA with this machine. I used it twice so far and it worked perfectly. I think I should’ve added the extra arm for low profile tires. My fault not yours.

Looks like a well built machine, we are mainly going to be using it to change 10" racing tires!

I have looked at dozens of tire machines, but all low quality ,few if any add ons or well layed out,you wiil not find another tire machine like it for the price,,great for a small shop who does a few tires per week, can add heavy duty rollers and move around if needed.

Bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it he said it works amazing, it came on time and very well packaged.

Vary nice smooth operating machine. Food pedals are set up right makes it very easy to use. Got mine with arm assist and what a huge help that is. Worth every penny for it.

I used a manual changer for tires for years. Looking at used ones that are not only overpriced but usually have issues. I compared all different brands and this machine is great. I was sold not only on the quality but the fact that you can get parts and support. The price was right on and honestly for the price I'm super surprised how well built it is. Delivery to my door was great. It arrived quickly and had it together in two hours(and 5 beers). Absolutely no air leaks. I put the machine on a set of machine casters with retractable feet. I can easily move it out to use and wheel it around to store it. Already did 20 inch LT tires, trailer 8ply tires. I don't know why I waited so long to get this. A matching balance is next. I will always recommend Derek Weaver to those looking for a home shop setup. Thanks again DW.

Awesome tire changer! Have used it on everything from 14" steel wheels to 18" three piece high dollar wheels with low pro tires. It has changed over 100 tires in the 6 months I have owned it and been used to help people learn how to change tires and has never skipped a beat. Great value for the price. Not as light or as small a footprint as other units so if installing in a trailer might not be a first choice there. Overall I love the machine and can't find any faults with it!

We have a self serve used auto parts business. This was our second purchase of this brand tire changer to replace our other worn out Coats machine. Our first Derek Weaver unit is still going strong after three years. it has demounted at least 800 wheels per month (from 200 cars) or at least 30,000 wheels with zero breakdowns. We will never buy a another brand tire changer again!

I have worked in a lot of shops using various tire changers. I wanted one for my own garage, after hours of research on new and used units I ultimately decided on the Weaver W-894XS machine and could not be more satisfied with it. Excellent quality inside and out, very smooth and powerful, plastic guards are a nice addition not offered on others. Delivered to my driveway only a couple of days after placing order-shout out to Old Dominion Freight for quick and damage free shipping. Whether for shop or personal use I highly recommend Weaver tire changers!

I run a pretty busy repair shop, my old Ranger died, went on the internet for some quick research, landed on the Weaver website. I had to look twice at the price because it seemed too good to be true. Received the machine about 4 days after ordering, assembled by myself which broke my back, but I work alone so I'm used to it. I did 16 tires in the first two days of having this machine and it did not disappoint. Motor is smooth and quiet, bead breaker is powerful, bead blaster works perfectly. I really like and reccomend this tire changer.

Great machine - mounted it in the drift car trailer to change tires at the track. Crate job was A-1, delivery was super fast and driver pallet jacked it right into the garage for me. Machine works awesome - thumbs up from the guys who work full time at a major tire shop.

So long as you understand the wheel sizes aren't always the same as far as the 20 and 22" some work and some don't when it comes to clamping on the outside of the wheel, beyond that all is exactly how it should be maybe just a bit better than your coats, bendpak, and other lines of machines

I have used several high dollar brands and this tire changer from Derek weaver ranks right up with coats. Works great and can handle large mud tires. For price you can’t beat the machine.

I looked at a few cheaper, and more expensive import machines, and the Weaver 984 fit my needs the best.. From what I can tell probably better support going this way.. This is for my home shop,and really is perfect fit there.

The machine shipped when they said it would even with Christmas and the new year holiday. The packaging was A+. It took me and one of my employees 30-45 minutes to get the machine together. I've owned several over priced, over rated tire machines that sit in a corner. I decided to not deal with them because of the lack of customer support after the equipment aged. I ORDERED THIS MACHINE AFTER A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY. THE LADY I SPOKE WITH ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS THOROUGHLY AND TOOK HER TIME WITH ME. THE MACHINE WAS DELIVERED IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AROUND A HOLIDAY. AFTER USING THE MACHINE FOR A FEW WEEKS I HAVE NO MAJOR COMPLAINTS.

My 894XS has ever bit the power of our coats machine with a stiffer tower. Would recommend this to any size shop, it's comparable to the more pricey brands I've used. Will buy from these guys again!

I bought the tire changing machine about 3 weeks ago and so far it is great I love it.... It was here on time

I bought this because the local dealer will gouge you on mount and balance if you don't buy tires from them. The delivery took longer than expected but showed up just fine, minor shipping crate damage from the pallet jack. Normal stuff. The unit is covered in a layer of oil. Expect to wipe it down a lot before assembling. It is everywhere. The unit does not feel cheap at all. It seems very rugged. I plan to purchase a balancer next.

I have a coats machine that I have used for years and almost bought another but I am very happy with this one. I originally bought this to use as second machine to the coats but the more I use it the less I use my older coats. I'm happy camper so far.

I received the tire machine when they said it would be here, which I thought was fast. It showed up with no damage. I have used it a few times and I am very happy with it. I will recommend it to my friends that have shops.

I'd used coats and Hoffman machines at work, this machine is just as good as those but for a fraction of the price. I love it, should of bought it many years ago. Couldn't be happier.

Having had the opportunity of using several different upper end makes and models of tire changers prior to my retirement, I find the W-894XS comparable in every way of operation. The quality is excellent as well as the ease of assembly. The product packing department as well as the shipping company did a great job with no damage whatsoever in transport. Shipping was handled promptly and courteously. All that and the price can not be beat. If you're looking for a great piece of equipment, you've come to the right place.

This is an excellent tire changer for the price. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship. I have changed two tires since receiving and it works great. Derek Weaver shipped fast and everyone was very helpful with my purchase. The manual with the changer is useless, just watch the video online and it tells how to assemble. Very happy with this tire changer.

I shopped around a bit before purchase to make sure i was getting the best deal. The reviews for this machine were good, and at a price point that usually does NOT include the bead blaster feature, i was sold. Let me tell you that the bead blaster has been VERY handy. I use this machine way more than i thought i ever would, and absolutely love it. I have done a 40" tire on a 20" wheel, the whole way down to a 9" ATV tire/wheel. Only one issue with it (reason for the deduction of one star), having to do with the shoe. It is delivered with a roller bearing in the shoe designed to ride the outside lip of the wheel. First wheel on the machine was slightly damaged by this bearing. I removed it and replaced it with the supplied yellow plastic slide. Worked fine after that! Only one other issue with it which isnt Derek Weavers fault. It was just a perfect storm of a specific aluminum wheel not agreeing with the shoe. Ended up upgrading to the plastic shoe and it has been working better than ever! Customer service has been awesome! Prompt and accurate responses. Cant wait to get my hands on a tire balancer soon!

This tire machine was very easy to put together and easy to use only used a couple of times so far work flawlessly there was a little trouble with shipping but I called Carroll the sale person that sold it to me ( I do think she was more upset than I was) anyway after talking with her the freight co call me within 15 min and was willing to deliver it that night great customer servise great great machine for the price

this is the second one we bought. the other one lasted almost 5 years with no problems. and only needed some seals and maintenance but for this price and the upgrades we were happy to just buy another one.

We had to get one of these for our tire shop after seeing one at another shop in town. Hard to believe you can get a quality changer for this price. It's heavy duty, as good as our coats machine with friendly staff to deal with at Weaver Co.

This took 2 people to put together weather I liked it or not. This is no light-weight machine. It's very stable, and quiet. I've only changed 1- tire so far, on my own car,--no problems at all. (still have the mother-in-law's car to do). I believe this machine will be "loved!"

This machine is heavy duty and does the job just fine. Perfect for my shop. We use it mostly to mount drag racing tires, but with some effort we've used it for low profile tires as well. Works great and well worth the money.

Ive had this machine in my garage for almost a year now. It was one of the best investments ive made in a tool in a long time. Everything on the machine works as it should. Getting the bead blasting feature at this price is am amazing bonus. I only had one problem with it, and that was with the bearing in the mount dismount head. Swap it out for the included plastic insert before use! It slightly damaged the a lip in one of my wheels. Could have been just that wheel, but Ive been using the plastic insert without issue ever since. I am extremely happy with this machine. I also love knowing that there is great support for it here if i ever need anything.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong machine through one of Derek Weaver's Ebay auctions. A quick phone later(on a holiday even)and a credit was issued through Paypal and the correct machine was ordered. Three days later and the machine arrived from Texas(I'm in RI). They are great people to do business with. Only suggestion would be better assembly instructions. They seemed very generic and did not explain some of what needed to be done to assemble the machine.

I ordered this on a Tuesday morning and had it Thursday afternoon. Old Dominion freight got it here fast. Derek weaver sent it out the same day as ordered. The person at DW was great. The ODF driver was great. And best of all the changer works great. One word of advice, don't read the owners manual. It's laughable. Just watch the video on this website.

I purchased this machine about 6 months ago and it is great. does car tires with ease 50 series no problem 40 series with a bead mounting clamp no prob. good machine for the price. I even did a Harley tire on it without a motorcycle adapter.

Only used it a few times but so far it works great. Great for the money.

I received machine in a crate, I was only expecting a pallet, first plus. 2nd plus easy set up. 3rd plus worx great. I work in a small town news travels fast,everyone wanted to see it work . sales jumped , sure beats the old 20/20 thanx a million .

this is the first tire machine that i have owned. i own a very simple garage , with very few tire changes to perform. but after purchasing this machine , i wonder how i managed without it. it is very simple to hook up and operate. and now i'm almost doing tires daily. shipping was super fast. i got my unit within a matter of days. took me from crate to operating in about an hour and a half.

Have used many changers in the past and this has been great so far. The price point is great and at first was a bit worried about the quality. But have been pleasantly surprised so far!

Great product. I have used several tire machines over the years. It isn't that this one is better, it is that it is equal to all others and only 1/5th the price. After a year of use I like it more every time I use it. I would recomend this to anyone from the weekend wrench to someone with a shop.

Excellent product for the price even rates next to the name brand stuff at twice the price, Will be dealing with Derek Weaver again. It would be nice to have the bead break control on the handle rather than on a pedal.

For the price our shop could not ask for anything more it meets all of or needs if this one every stops working i will buy another one
